Data Clerk
We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Data Clerk, providing support to one of our busy specialist award winning lawyers. Starting as soon as possible, the role will suit someone with willingness to work under direction from their team Leader and they show an enthusiastic, positive and pro-active approach. Experience of working in a team is desirable and it is not essential to have previous experience of legal work. The role requires GCSE and A level qualifications.

The role of Data Clerk provides clerical support to a designated Team and, where appropriately delegated, deal with variety of clerical matters under the supervision of the Team Leader
Description of Duties
- To Time Record work recorded by fee earners accurately in the firm’s Time Recording system
- To scan post and DX as required
- To record all work carried out accurately and appropriately on the firm’s Case Management system
- All of the above under the supervision of the designated Team leader
- Maintain professional standards of work and comply with external and internal with internal policy and provide a service in accordance with the policy set out in the office manual.
- Follow all office and administrative procedures
- Liaise at all times with the Team and fee earner supervising
- Attend departmental meetings and staff meetings
- Record time spent on cases
- Provide support to other Team members as required
- Read and action internal memos
