- representing children through their guardian in care proceedings where there are suspicions of terrorist links and concerns that the child could be under threat of radicalisation; and
- representing children and family members in placement hearings where the option to put a child into adoption is under consideration.
Gemma is recognised in the 2022 Legal 500, as a ‘next-generation partner’ and a ‘recommended lawyer’ with the following testimonial:
‘There are some outstanding solicitors within the firm notably Lorraine Green and Gemma Hodder. Their knowledge of family law and client care is second to none. This leaves clients feeling that they are well represented and confident at a time when they are probably most vulnerable.’
