Expertise and experience

Eleanor is one of our trainee solicitors, and she will be gaining experience in mental health and capacity law, and family law, during her training contract. She assists other solicitors as well as conducting her own cases, advising and representing clients at court in certain matters.

Eleanor has assisted in Court of Protection matters, representing vulnerable individuals in proceedings, often through the Official Solicitor or a Litigation Friend. Her work has also involved representing clients in serious medical treatment cases, where the court has to make a decision about providing, withdrawing or withholding medical treatment in certain circumstances.

During her family law seat, Eleanor has worked on cases representing the Children’s Guardian and parents.

Prior to joining the firm, Eleanor worked as a Mental Health Act Coordinator where she gained extensive experience of mental health law and assisted vulnerable individuals.

Eleanor has a particular interest in representing and advising marginalised members of society, ensuring their voice is heard.
