Expertise and experience
Camika is one of our trainee solicitors, and she will be gaining experience mental health and capacity law, and family law during her training contract. Camika assists the other solicitors in the team as well as conducting her own cases, advising and representing clients at court in certain matters.
Prior to starting her training contract, Camika gained experience in Financial Fraud, Commercial Property, Prison Law and Employment Law.
She is interested in exploring the various complex family structures and ways in which assistance can be provided, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals. Camika is a keen advocate in protecting children and young people as well as preserving the legal rights of vulnerable people and helping them rebuild their lives.
Camika is motivated to improve the lives of children, young people, families and communities. She has demonstrated this in voluntary positions held as; a litigation friend for the National Centre for Domestic Violence, a Young Enterprise volunteer, a ReachOut mentor and a mentor for The Amos Bursary.
