Miles & Partners complete London Legal Walk before Netball win

Energetic colleagues at Miles & Partners won one of their first netball matches following the London Legal Walk on Monday 16 May.

With help from some friends and old M&P colleagues the M&P ladies have set up their very own netball team and are competing in a recreational Monday night league in Highbury & Islington. The team have been playing for the last few weeks and have been improving their skills each week. They won their last game on Monday 16th with a great score of 17-7, which was even more impressive considering most of the team ran or walked 10K for the London Legal Walk before playing.

Kaileigh Hazeldine, Trainee Solicitor, said, “We are very proud to have raised a total of £351.25 for the London Legal Trust, which runs the London Legal Walk. They help a number of charities to deliver legal services to the poorest and the most vulnerable people in our community where access to justice is out of reach. Free legal advice makes a huge difference to their lives and charity and philanthropy have increased in importance for supporting those in need. It is important to us at Miles and Partners to support this cause and the netball is keeping us all fit, so that we can take part!’
