Bake for justice raises £400 for the London Legal Support Trust

On 23 February 2017, the lawyers at Miles & Partners in London took to the streets of Devonshire Square to sell delicious home-made cakes and treats as part of the Great Legal Bake. The team baked their hearts out and managed to raise £400 for the London Legal Support Trust.

As one of a shrinking number of city law firms who act for the most vulnerable in society, Miles & Partners are keen supporters of the London Legal Support Trust and the vital services they provide.

The London Legal Support Trust supports local legal advice agencies and charities that provide specialist free legal advice and services to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in London and the South East.

This year, over 250 teams of lawyers in London took part in the Great Legal Bake, raising over £15,000 so far, with more funds still coming in.

Michelle Uppal, partner and head of the divorce and family money team at Miles & Partners, said, “At Miles & Partners, we believe that access to justice should be available to all, regardless of an individual’s financial situation so we were delighted to support the vital work of the London Legal Support Trust. We would like to thank everyone who joined us at the bake sale and donated to support such a worthy cause.”
